Milky Way No Bake Cheesecake

Milky Way No Bake Cheesecake

1 ½ cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

1 cup milk

4 Milky Way bars (2.15 ounces each) sliced

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup heavy cream

Combine the cookie crumbs and butter. Press into the bottom and 2 inches up the side of an 8-inch springform pan; chill. Sprinkle the gelatin over the milk in a medium saucepan; stir over low heat until the gelatin is dissolved. Add the Milky Way bars and continue to stir over low heat until the mixture is smooth; cool slightly. Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the Milky Way bar mixture and the vanilla. Add the cream and beat at high speed for 4 minutes. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust and chill until firm, about 4 hours. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and additional sliced Milky Way bars. 12 servings.
