Lemon Jello Poke Cake

1 box of any brand yellow cake mix

1 large package lemon jello

1 small container of Cool Whip

Bake the cake as directed on the box. While the cake is still hot prepare the jello according to the directions on the box. Using a fork, chopstick or small dowel rod make holes in the top of the cake. (Obviously, this will work much better with a sheet cake but, you can do a layer cake. Just be very careful when putting the layers together that they don't fall apart; they will be very fragile after poking and filling with jello).Pour the prepared jello over the cake. Reserve a little of the jello and let it partially set up; then add to the Cool Whip and pour over the cake.
